Meer dan 20 jaar van voortdurende ontwikkeling en technische expertise op het gebied van uitlaten hebben geleid tot het Milltek Sport programma, dat wij nu kennen. Milltek Sport biedt een voortdurend groeiend en samenhangend programma van performance uitlaatsystemen, dat voortbouwt op het succes van merken zoals Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Mini en BMW. Milltek Sport heeft een goede reputatie bij Chip Performance en staat hoog op het verlanglijstje van autobezitters.

Milltek Sport uitlaten worden gemaakt van een hoge kwaliteit RVS, namelijk type 304; dit type RVS wordt ook in de luchtvaartindustrie toegepast! Dit materiaal is antimagnetisch (RVS van andere fabrikanten hoeft dat niet te zijn) en is minder gevoelig voor verkleuring. Dit RVS materiaal wordt gebruikt voor alle pijpen en voor de gehele demperconstructie. De uitlaten worden in vorm gebogen door middel van de doornbuigtechniek. Hiermee blijft de binnendiameter gelijk in bochten en dus doorstroming volledig en kunnen de prestaties gegarandeerd worden zonder verlies van koppel.

Resonated (stiller) of Non-Resonated (luider)?

Milltek Sport brengt haar uitlaatsystemen in twee varianten op de markt, namelijk de resonated variant en de non-resonated variant. De resonated variant heeft een extra kamer, genaamd ‘resonator’, met een hoeveelheid lucht waardoor het motorgeluid gedempt wordt. De resonated is dus de stillere variant, ten opzichte van de non-resonated. De extra dempingskamer in de resonated uitlaat zorgt voor de zelfde prestaties als de non-resonated uitlaat.

With these two factors playing a major part in the design process, our engineers were keen to lower gas temperatures and optimise back-pressure without inducing the ‘rasp’ that so easily occurs when tuning low displacement engines. All GPF/cat-back systems come with the choice of 90mm polished, cerakote black, titanium, burnt titanium or carbon trims. Our GPF/cat-back offers a valved system that works directly with factory electronics and features an all new direct drive valve setup to prevent unwanted noise or vibration from the exhaust valve. For ultimate valve control we will be releasing a smartphone application valve control system. This will offer permanent valve shut, opening of the valve at specific RPM or permanent opening off the valve through all driver select modes. We will also be offering non-valved GPF/cat-back systems with valve delete module for those owners wanting a noisier and more aggressive soundtrack all the time without constantly adjusting driver select modes after startup. Our non-valved GPF/cat-back will solve this for you! In development and coming soon will be a full range of large bore downpipes available with and without High Flow Cat/GPF's.
